• Bioicons - High quality science illustrations
• unDraw -  Open-source illustrations which can be used freely and without attribution.

• Openi - Open Access Biomedical Image Search Engine from the National Library of Medicine.

• Lucidchart - Provides free Introductory shape libraries and 100 basic templates to draw diagrams and create flowcharts.
• Diagrams.net - A free open source, online tool for creating diagrams, shapes and flowcharts. and save and share them easily.
• Gliffy - Use free basic account to create flowcharts, mind maps, venn diagrams, network diagrams, organisational charts, floor plans, etc.
• Omnigraffle - Designed for creating diagrams for Mac and IPAD users.
• Gephi - Open-source software. You can use it to explore, analyse, spatialise, filter, manipulate and export all types of graphs.
