Searching Health Business Elite

For more detailed information on searching see our literature searching guide

Health Business Elite search screen

  1. Basic search - Enter keywords in the search box. Use the dropdown to select Title and Abstract. Join them using OR from the dropdown. This gives a more focused search.
  2. Subjects - A subject term is a standardised word or phrase that describes a main idea in the article. When an article is added to a database, the database will assign subject terms to it from the database's list of subjects. Browse the database of subject terminology to find relevant terms. Combine with keyword searching.
  3. My Account - Sign in/create account to save searches and alerts, add articles to folder, etc.

Advanced searching lets you construct more complex searches, for example, by searching for specific search terms in specific fields (e.g., title, abstract) and using Boolean Operators (AND, OR NOT) to combine search terms.
